Conspiracy Theory: Energy Harvesting Explained!

For a long time, I thought “energy harvesting” was this big, ominous, elite practice.

Something secret. Something dark. Something only certain people could do on purpose.

A year ago, I even did a tarot reading on it trying to understand what it really was — and honestly? I walked away more confused than before.

But recently, it clicked. And the realization was way more… human than expected.

The Moment It Made Sense

I was sweeping the floor while holding the broom with one hand (something I’ve always done), and I suddenly remembered how my mom and sister used to criticize me for it. Then my mind jumped to: if I posted this online, people would probably react the same way.

For the first time, I felt how that criticism could make me feel stupid — and how instinctively I’d want to avoid that feeling.

And then another thought followed:

What if I didn’t run from it?

What if, instead of avoiding judgment, I let it exist — and chose what I did with the emotional charge it created?

That’s when I finally understood energy harvesting.

So… What Is Energy Harvesting, Actually?

It’s not:

  • stealing energy from people

  • dark rituals

  • manipulation

  • some grand magical flex

It’s:

Attention + emotional response + intention + repetition.

Humans already do this unconsciously all the time.
Performers use nerves.
Creators use backlash.
Artists use heartbreak.
Athletes use doubt.

The “harvesting” part is simply becoming aware of the emotional energy being generated — and redirecting it instead of collapsing under it.

This Isn’t About Seeking Pain

Important clarification:
This isn’t about wanting criticism or chasing negativity.

It’s about realizing that emotional reactions don’t have to own you.

Sensitivity isn’t something to burn off or get rid of — it’s the instrument.
Energy only exists because something is felt.

Conclusion

Energy harvesting isn’t rare or mystical — it’s a skill of awareness that has become less scary and more empowering. I'll admit I am guilty of referencing this concept so recklessly because I did not understand it at first.

Though, once you realize you can consciously participate in it, you stop giving your power away to negativity.

That realization alone? That’s the real alchemy.
